So on Hells Kitchen we lost another weak chef. Another 8 weak chefs to go. Coi goes home in another exchange with Chef Ramsey that leaves the weaker cook on the line. Coi was a weak chef, but Andrea does more damage to a brigade. Andrea acts like a leader and attempts to lead. The problem with being a weak chef and trying to be a leader is that nobody respects you, or follows you, and you just end up looking like an ass. Andrea is way to weak to lead. I still argue that the majority of these chefs are weak. The few good cooks keep quiet, trying to stay off Ramsey’s radar. Not enough crying and misery in this episode. Ramsey needs to step it up. Sunday is a day of adventure, a day where I can get away from the trivial things in life like “getting a job” or “making something of myself,” This Sunday was no different. It started off with a plan, a good plan too, but I accidentally left it at home. Lucky for me I had a navigator.
The one thing I knew I wanted to do was get some culture at LACMA (L.A. County Museum of Art) which by my reasoning should be called LACMOA, but apparently the powers that be consider that less arty. Anyway, they have an awesome exhibit until the end of the month called Vanity Fair Portraits 1913-2008. Go see it. I promise you’ll be happy you did. Don’t spread this around, but they actually have a picture of Madonna where she doesn’t look like skeletor. Also, on the drive down we ran into Kid Rock (or a member of his immediate family) in Koreatown.

We are kicking off the blog on valentine’s day, not only because it’s the day where all of you are out to dinner, but also because today is about love. And there’s nothing I love more than food! In the interest of full disclosure, I have to tell you that I have started a vegan (almost) diet, so I probably won’t be able to fall off the wagon more than once a week to give you great posts on the most decadant food Cali can offer.
