We are in the final week of the king crab season and the boats are all scrambling to make their quotas before the market prices drop too low. The Time Bandit finished up last week, meeting their quota. The rest of the fleet has one last week to get on the crab.

Sorry (mommom1) your attempts to have me banned from writing have only worked in Tularosa, New Mexico and don’t get a big head, they just went along with you because I once said Tularosa smells like mayonnaise. On to Deadliest Catch!

We are into week 4 of the King Crab season and the best part of this last episode, and by far the best part of this season, was the advertisement they had for the Deadliest Catch mother’s day marathon. There’s nothing quite like Captain Phil saying, “Happy Fucking Mothers Day”. Of course it’s the discovery channel so they bleeped out the best part but it was still great.

B-hizzle wasn’t able to catch the last episode of deadliest catch because he had a meeting with the President in regard to making the word “Hella” the official word of California. Lucky for you guys, being the constant couch potato and armchair crab fisherman I did catch it.
The 3rd episode, one of the most sobering of the shows correctly phrased, “Stay focused or die”, really kind of brought down the mood of the usually cheerfull show. This truly is the worlds most dangerous job. Continue reading

We’re getting down to it now and as we dig a little deeper each week, the flaws of the chefs really start booming to the front. It’s still amazing to me that they just cut Lacey, who had to scream out, “I can’t cook meat”, to be let go.
We still have plenty of chefs there who have about as much business being on the show as I do being the America’s next top model. Andrea and Carol kept fighting from the end of last show into the start of this one. There is nothing like two people who are horrible at something and fighting about it. We both pretty much suck, but you suck worse then I do, so you should leave. In reality neither one has any business being there and both should go back to making macaroni and cheese at Denny’s.
